Lib Dems storm into second place ahead of the Tories

Lib Dem Robert Plimmer is delighted to have stormed ahead of the Tories into second place in Cippenham Meadows in the recent elections to Slough Council. In his Lib Dem Focus newsletter Robert thanks all those residents who supported the Lib Dem campaign.

In his Thank-you Focus Robert also highlights the Lib Dem support for the NHS. Nationally the Lib Dems have consistently been calling for extra funding to support vital NHS services. Locally the Lib Dems are campaigning against Slough's Labour-run Council privatising some of the local community health services that used to be run by the NHS from Upton Hospital.

Robert also lists some of the successes and actions of the Lib Dem Focus Team in Cippenham Meadows, including his campaign to get action on the exposed utility boxes throughout the ward.
