A COMMUNITY is pleading with a local authority to help save a prestigious piece of green land. Chalvey Community Forum is desperately trying to save the last remaining piece of the Big Slough Field located in front of Tower and Ashbourne Houses - two towers blocks in Burlington Avenue facing demolition.

Exciting day at Lord's

I was at Lord's today, attending the England v New Zealan cricket test match. I witnessed Ben Stokes score the quickest ever Test century at Lord's and a valuable but MUCH slower century by Alastair Cook. It will probably end in a draw, but we will have to see how the last day goes tomorrow.
