Councillor Frank O'Kelly

Cippenham Village

Frank O’Kelly was born in Dublin. He emigrated to the UK in 2002.

He has lived and worked in Slough for over 20 years. He is currently working on the Slough Trading Estate as a commercial manager for one of the oldest companies in Berkshire.

Prior to this Frank worked in Yellow Pages on the Bath Road. This was one of the big employers of local talent and hundreds of young men and women started their careers the building overlooking the roundabout made famous in the opening credits of David Brents “the office”.

Frank believes passionately in supporting the local community. He helps start neighbour watch groups, volunteers at his local school where he has become the chair of governors. Frank is ex-army and a member of the British Legion, he also sits on the British Legion Branch Committee. 

Frank supports and volunteers with the Slough outreach Charity to help the homeless and he is a supporter of the Reach care home association who offer lifelong care to adults with severe learning disabilities. 

Frank stood for election because the issues that affected Slough affected the children and vulnerable residents across Slough and he wanted to help. 

In the council Frank Chairs, the Audit and Governance Committee and sits on the scrutiny committee.
